Mary Post’s weaving has been a highlight of the annual Christmas Fair – and various summer fairs – for several years now. Her beautiful displays in a gorgeous range of colours make people want to stroke and pat and generally fondle her scarves and stoles.
But it’s not just the colours, it’s the textures and designs which are also rather tempting.
Weaving in the heart of Harlech,
Mary is also often to be found at the Fair working on one of her smaller looms, and she is happy to demonstrate exactly how it works:
Her glorious assortment of scarves seem to light up even the gloomiest day. And the stash of wool illuminates the corner of the weaving shed, too:
Inspiring!
